Terms of Service

1. Service description

Citelix is a Shopify application that tracks how AI search engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Grok) reference your brand and products. We provide visibility scores, competitive analysis, and actionable recommendations.

2. No guarantees

Citelix is a diagnostic and monitoring tool. We do not guarantee that applying our recommendations will result in your brand being recommended by any AI platform. AI search results are inherently variable and influenced by factors outside our control.

3. Billing

Billing is handled entirely through Shopify. Charges appear on your Shopify invoice. You can cancel at any time from your Shopify admin. All plans (Starter, Growth, and Pro) include a 3-day free trial and are available on monthly or annual billing. Annual plans are charged once per year and renew yearly until cancelled.

4. Data accuracy

AI responses vary between queries and over time. The data we show represents what AI platforms returned at the time of each scan. Visibility scores, mention rates, and sentiment analysis are based on these responses and should be treated as directional indicators, not absolute measurements.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Citelix to generate misleading content, manipulate AI search results through deceptive practices, or violate any platform's terms of service. Our recommendations follow ethical SEO and GEO best practices.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled scans may be delayed due to AI provider rate limits, maintenance, or service outages. We will notify you of any extended downtime.

7. Intellectual property

Your store data remains yours. The analysis, recommendations, and visibility metrics generated by Citelix are provided for your use within your business. You may not resell or redistribute our analysis as a service.

8. Limitation of liability

Citelix is provided "as is." We are not liable for any business decisions made based on our analysis, any changes in AI search results, or any indirect damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months prior to any claim.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
